Key Responsibilities Utilizing loan officer experience to underwrite, originate, process, and provide exceptional customer service Analyzing financial information and assisting clients with loan applications Ensuring compliance with TILA and Fair Housing regulations Conducting credit analysis and negotiating terms Managing mortgage servicing and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate successful loan transactions Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients Essential Qualifications Prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or successful completion of the NMLS exam Proficiency in underwriting, loan origination, TILA, and credit analysis Strong customer service skills and ability to handle loan processing efficiently Knowledge of financial services, accounting software, and basic math Familiarity with financial sales, negotiation, and mortgage servicing Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and experience in financial sales Preferred Qualifications Experience working with a wide range of mortgage products Knowledge of FNMA guidelines and mortgage software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities Career Growth Opportunities At Mission San Jose Mortgage, we are committed to the growth and success of our employees.
