Job Overview As a Staff Software Engineer - Open Text, you will play a critical role in leading a team of engineers in building and designing products that our customers and associates love. You will be part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels who help each other build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production applications. Key Responsibilities Delivery and Execution (50%): Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software with a clear understanding of the value it provides; take a broad view when approaching issues; consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances; develop test suites to enable success and rapid deployment of code to production. Learns and Grows (10%): Actively seek ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels; learn through successful and failed experiments when tackling new problems. Plans and Aligns (20%): Create new and better ways for the organization to be successful; deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are developer-ready, easy to understand, and testable; collaborate with other team members in agile processes. Supports and Enables (20%): Field questions from product and engineering teams; help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks and leading technical discussions; note gaps on the team and provide suggestions for changes to make the team more productive. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including: Must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Minimum of 3 years of work experience. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Proven ability to design, configure, and deploy business solutions for OpenText Content Server, OpenText Enterprise Scan, and OpenText Capture Center. Experience working with 3rd party implementation partners to assist with application deployment, configuration, training, and post-deployment support. Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for SAP. 5+ years of hands-on experience working with OpenText Content Server version 9.x, 10.x, or 16.x, including creating taxonomies and metadata, building forms, views, reports, and configuring permissions. Strong knowledge of OpenText Content Server capabilities, including Content Server Fundamentals, Content Server Development exposure, Records Management Module, Custom Views, Web Forms, Appearances, Live Reports, CIS Modeling, Workflow, and Web Reports.
