What we’re looking forWe’re looking for a smart, energetic, and result-driven Media Supervisor to oversee media strategy for client programs. The Media Supervisor will lead client strategy across books of business, manage and mentor team members, and help shape the roadmap for media team capabilities at the agency. This person will be the primary media lead for all assigned clients and is responsible for media success/results/KPIs. What you will doMedia Strategy and PlanningWork on roadmap for media specific channel/tactic offerings and capabilities for team based on industry trends, innovation and client needs. Lead cross-channel strategy for various client accounts by providing campaign recommendations and insights from program inception through completion for complex, global B2B clientsPartner with Client Services to help steward and nurture the health of client accountsIdentify opportunities to incorporate new media strategies and tactics into current and future programsEnsure deliverables align with overall strategies and program results highlight key findings with actionable insights for continued media plan improvementUtilize industry tools and research to provide education and insights for client and internal team requestsOversee day-to-day maintenance of media plans and handle client requests and questionsCultivate relationships with media vendors, draft and submit RFPs, evaluate proposals and provide media POVsCollaborate with Analytics on measurement plans that translate platform specific KPIs to clients’ business objectivesEnsure timely and accurate client billing and reconciliationsStay abreast of marketplace trends across marketing, consumer behavior and marketing technologyClient and Team LeadershipLead all media communications with cross functional teams/clients, serving as the true media POCEducate clients and internal teams on digital tactics including programmatic, partnerships, native, content syndication, etc. Present paid media strategies to a diverse range of clients, including complex, global B2B brandsCollaborate with TMP team members to develop comprehensive campaign strategies Leverage client insights and campaign briefs to create a relevant target audience for campaignsMedia Operations and AnalyticsEnsure proper campaign set-up and execution including trafficking and tracking of all placements through Google Campaign ManagerAdvanced knowledge of campaign and platform analytics with the ability to use data to determine ideal budgets across channelsProvide estimated performance projections based on media plan recommendationsMeasure channel effectiveness against established KPIs and desired business outcomeMentorship & ManagementManage, train and mentor Media Team planners, including the development of training/education materials, to hone media strategy skills and expertiseConduct regular performance reviews with direct reports, working on areas of professional development, strengths, challenges, and obstaclesRequirementsWho you areYou are a go-getter, a positive yet determined person who enjoys learning on the go and taking on fun and exciting work. Qualifications include:At least 5 years of experience in the field of media with a focus on digital planning and buying/execution/optimizationSavvy experiences with standard media planning and buying processes as well as industry relevant tools and trends. Proficient understanding of paid search and paid social tacticsSolid knowledge of standard tracking, tagging & trafficking tools (ie. DoubleClick, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.)Experience running self-managed programmatic campaigns, a plusDemonstrates agility via multi-tasking – multiple clients, programs, strategies & team membersSeasoned professional with demonstrated skill sets for client interaction and communication; able to manage client requests and push back with sound rationale when necessaryProven ability to synthesize data & results, identify trends & key findings, and fuel content strategiesManagement experience of 1+ individualsAn influencer that can work well with various groups and levels of the organizationExcellent written and oral communication skills, including editing others’ work and coaching others’ presentationsWhat you will needAct as a leading key member of the media team, to strategize, build, execute, and optimize all paid media campaigns that deliver on client objectives and performance indicatorsIn charge of meeting and delivering client media KPIs/resultsWork with media vendors by building relationships, sending request for proposals, negotiating pricing, etc. Maintain status reports on all ongoing media projectsLead in the development, negotiation, implementation, tracking, reporting and optimization of online or traditional media buysAnalyze reports and works with the performance team (Search, Social, Display/Video) and planning team to recommend needed optimization and changesReview vendor media kits, provide POVs and maintain vendor databaseCommunicate day to day digital media related needs and outstanding project tasks to the account service team, project manager and performance teams for any interactive media campaignsStay abreast of emerging trends and communicate innovative, business-building new media recommendations to wider teamsMaintain campaign timelines relating to media deliverablesProcess invoices, maintain finance chart on invoices and campaign finances to ensure that media vendors are paid properly and on timeLead, manage, and mentor your assigned media planner(s)BenefitsThis role is not eligible for benefits as it's classified as a contractor position.
