Position Overview As a Sr Software Engineer- Java FullStack, you will play a critical role in defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast-paced and agile development environment. You will provide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7, driving increased efficiency and eliminating duplication. Your expertise in Java, Spring boot, and Data science, AI/ML implementations will be essential in delivering high-quality products that meet our clients' needs. Key Responsibilities Define, develop, and evolve software in a fast-paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7, mentoring and guiding team members to achieve their full potential Utilize your expertise in Java, Spring boot, and Data science, AI/ML implementations to drive innovation and deliver high-quality products Translate requirements/vision into prioritized lists of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards Drive increased efficiency across teams, eliminating duplication and leveraging product and technology reuse Support process improvements that guide development, sustaining, and support activities Work cross-functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products Ensure the team receives consistent messages and has a clear understanding of business direction, strategy, and results Engage subject matter experts in the successful transfer of complex domain knowledge Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project Understand performance parameters and assess application performance Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using the technology chosen Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 'STEM' Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with advanced experience Strong expertise in Java, Spring boot, and Data science, AI/ML implementations Hands-on experience with Angular/React and strong JavaScript, TypeScript, and UI tech stack Experience working in an agile development environment and familiarity with SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and contribute to the immediate team and other teams across the business Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Master's Degree/Ph.
