Server, Storyliving by Disney™As an Artisan Club Food & Beverage Server, you will be delivering exceptional Disney experiences for our private club Members and invited Guests. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an outstanding dining experience through extensive menu knowledge and the ability to customize and personalize experiences for Members and Guests of the Artisan Club. You will work in club restaurants (indoor and outdoor), beach service areas, and may assist with event and catering operations. Bartender, Storyliving by Disney™As an Artisan Club Bartender, you will create an exceptional Guest experience through extensive beverage knowledge and the ability to customize and personalize experiences for both Club Members and Guests of the Artisan Club. You will deliver the highest level of Guest service by working in Club restaurants (indoor and outdoor) and may also assist with other events and catering operations. Basic QualificationsYou must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for these rolesServer, Storyliving by Disney™2+ years of serving experienceStrong verbal communication skills and enthusiastic about interacting and helping Members and GuestsAbility to work in a fast-paced, environment while maintaining Guest service standardsExperience working with various kitchen suppliesKnowledge of varied service styles including event executionDemonstrated excellent guest service and service recovery skills with the ability to own and resolve guest situationsBartender, Storyliving by Disney™2+ years of full-service bartending experience in the hospitality business, preferably fine dining or private clubKnowledge of varied service styles and up-to-date with the latest trends in mixology and beverage cultureA deep understanding of different types of spirits, wines, and liqueurs as well as solid understanding of basic cocktail, spirit brands, and mixology techniquesDemonstrated excellent Guest service and service recovery skillsStrong verbal communication skillsAbility to listen effectively, multi-task, and work as part of a teamExhibit flexibility and knowledge of varied service styles, including event executionDemonstrate speed, accuracy and efficiencyPreferred QualificationsServer, Storyliving by Disney™Experience working 4/ 5 Star resort, fine dining restaurant, or private club environmentKnowledge of wine and spirits, including proficiency in wine and food pairings, cocktail creation, and industry trendsServSafe certificationMulti-lingualBartender, Storyliving by Disney™Extensive knowledge of wine and spirits, including proficiency in wine and food pairings, cocktail creation, and industry trendsExperience working 4/ 5 Star resort or private club environmentFood serving knowledge/experienceServSafe CertificationMulti-lingualResponsibilitiesServer, Storyliving by Disney™Take food and drink orders, articulate menu options and ingredients, enter orders into a POS system accurately and efficiently, deliver food to tables at proper temperature and presentation, and follow-up with Guest service needs until the meal is completeShare knowledge of wines, beers, cocktails, and spirits with Members and their GuestsClear table and perform bussing duties, as well as other minor clean-up as neededWork with kitchen/restaurant equipment including but not limited to: coffee brewers, juice and soda fountains, soup wells, and toastersDemonstrate passion for food & beverage service with an ability to exude genuine hospitality for a dynamic Guest audience that consists primarily of individuals with a high degree of repeat visitationComplete assigned side work as necessary including but not limited to: polishing silverware, folding/rolling napkins, filling condiment caddies, and cleaning beverage side stationsParticipate in extensive in-house training on basic and advanced knowledge of wine, beer, spirits, and cuisineMay be required to perform a small amount of food preparation, serve as a cocktail server or beachside server, set tables and greet guests, and assist with banquets or eventsPractice proper sanitation procedures and maintains cleanliness of the side stationsBartender, Storyliving by Disney™Prepare and serve alcoholic (cocktails, wines, beers, spirits) and nonalcoholic drinks while following standard recipes and presentation standards to ensure the highest quality of beveragesShare knowledge of wines and spirits, offer recommendations on beverage selections as appropriate, answer any questions about the menu and ingredients, and deliver timely and courteous serviceTailor food and drink orders to meet preferences and dietary/allergy restrictionsKnow, understand, and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beveragesRecognize signs of intoxication and handle situations appropriately while always communicating issues with the on-site ManagerExhibit an understanding of the unique components that are inherent in a private club environment, fostering distinct relationships built as a result of repeat visitation with Club Member and GuestsMaintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar area including the proper storage and rotation of beverages, glassware, and suppliesWork with POS systems; Enters Guest drink orders and handles Member account transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and closing tabsCompensation DetailsThis posting is seeking candidates to fill multiple roles in California.
