Our commitment to excellence has earned us numerous awards and recognition within the industry. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our members, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with our Payments and Digital Strategy team to resolve member inquiries, process loan payments, and maintain accurate records. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team. **Key Responsibilities** • Complete data entry and balancing functions to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions • Coordinate return items with members, outside vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues efficiently • Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related Accounting general ledger balancing to maintain a high level of service • Work member cases/activities assigned to ensure timely resolution and member satisfaction • Follow and maintain policies and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA rules and regulations, Federal Banking laws, and other regulatory requirements • Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, such as IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks • Review, analyze, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products to ensure accuracy and compliance • Log, research, and make necessary GL, account adjustments, and/or returns to maintain accurate records • Process Stop Pays and Check Batching to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions • Complete daily balancing and branch closing to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions • Obtain information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic funds transfer requests • Research and verify incoming and outgoing funds transfer information to ensure accuracy and compliance • Communicate with vendors to process funds transfers and resolve any issues that may arise • Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming funds transfer laws to ensure compliance • Deposit check returns, research member returned checks on draft changes, process member checks, verify members for outgoing funds transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing funds transfers • Complete daily processing of workflows related to late returns, source of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions **Essential and Preferred Qualifications** • High school diploma or GED • Intermediate Excel and Word experience • Previous customer/member service experience • Previous banking or Credit Union experience • Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience **Skills and Competencies** • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software • Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs • Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure • Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within department • Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision • Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail • Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance • Must pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At American Airlines Credit Union, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
