About the Team and the Role The DashMart team is focused on building a new type of convenience store, offering both household essentials and local restaurant favorites to our customers' doorsteps. As an Associate Center of Excellence, you will be part of a newly formed team within our Central Operations team, responsible for driving operational excellence across our DashMart operations from a local and central operations perspective. Your expertise will be leveraged to optimize internal processes, provide support and training, and standardize procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all disciplines. Key Responsibilities Support: Act as the first line of defense for slack responses and questions, providing guidance and expertise to site managers and other stakeholders. Training: Collaborate with the remote training team to provide on-the-ground support for complex training, ensuring that new hires and existing staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Standardization: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve adoption and consistency across all sites, conducting operational health checks and tracking progress. Rescue: Travel to sites that require improvement, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to get metrics back on track, working closely with local ops leaders and cross-functional partners. SOP Creation: Develop process documentation for new processes, ensuring that all procedures are well-documented and easily accessible to all stakeholders. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong and diverse skillset, including: 5+ years of experience leading in a high-performance operation, supporting field and central operations, including kitchen management, warehouse management, retail management, learning and development, launch, operations management, or a related field. Self-motivation, positivity, and a strong team player mentality, with the ability to work well with others and bring a great attitude to your work each day. High integrity and a customer-centric approach, with a focus on delighting customers and ensuring that they receive an exceptional experience. Ability to work independently with remote management, with a high level of autonomy and accountability. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and visualization tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: Serv-Safe Manager Food Safety Certification, or the ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe. Understanding of relevant business processes and industry trends, with a focus on logistics and operations management. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, or a related field, with a strong academic record and a passion for learning. Comfort using SQL, Atlassian, Canva, Learning Management Systems, Sigma, and/or LucidChart, with a strong technical skillset and the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
