Job title: IT Technician Company: Child Crisis Arizona Job description: Child Crisis Arizona is seeking a qualified IT Technician to join our fast- paced team to further our mission of protecting Arizona's most vulnerable children from abuse and neglect and help build strong families. The IT Technician's key responsibilities are to diagnose, repair and maintain hardware and software; Install and configure computer hardware and provide IT desktop support for the organization; Interact with personnel from different departments at different levels to troubleshoot their technical needs, and implement IT solutions to ensure staff workstations meet company and staff requirements. The home office could be located at one of our main offices in Mesa or Phoenix and travel between sites will be required on occasion ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Assist in maintaining information technology services, functionality, and user satisfaction by answering questions and/or resolving routine problems. • Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues • Install, configure, and support software and their functions according to specifications • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems • Setup user desktop equipment (monitors, mouse, keyboard, and docking station) • Support agency mobile devices, printers, laptops, iPads, desk phones and workstations • Perform Laptop and Desktop provisioning, deployment, and recovery • Perform basic troubleshooting of audio/video conference equipment • Basic troubleshooting of issues with Microsoft Office 16/19 including Outlook • Troubleshoot basic internet connection issues (wireless, hardwire, VPN) • Identify and resolve routine hardware/software problems in a timely manner. If unable to resolve an issue escalate to next level. • Install and configure hardware and software components • Perform tests on new hardware and software • Repair or replace damaged hardware (hard drive, docks, battery, RAM) • Use ticketing system to report individual work accomplishments and to track Service Level Agreements (SLAs) • Travel to different office locations offering technical support on-site or via phone or email • Model Agency’s expectation for sensitivity and competency relating to diversity and cultural awareness. • Perform other tasks as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE • Minimum of six months’ experience in a help desk or desktop support function • Associates degree in Computer Science or related field; or combination of college coursework and relevant work experience • Certifications (such as CompTia A+) highly desired • Demonstrated proficiency with all Microsoft Office Professional programs • Hands on experience with Microsoft Office 10, 16, & 19 • Working knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles • Problem solver and attention to details • Capable of researching a solution if no documentation on the issue is available • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills • Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of vendors and community liaisons. • Must possess or be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card • A valid Arizona Driver license with an acceptable 5 year driving record Expected salary: $18 - 20 per hour Location: Phoenix, AZ Apply for the job now!
