We are currently seeking an experienced Licensing Trainer Admin to join our team on a full-time remote basis with occasional onsite visits to locations such as Boise, ID; Richmond, VA; Port St. Lucie, FL; or Salt Lake City, UT. As a Licensing Trainer Admin, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our agents by providing high-quality training and support. Purpose of the Licensing Trainer Admin Role The Licensing Trainer Admin is a multifaceted role that requires a strong and diverse skillset. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading safe, conscientious, and professional training programs that cater to the needs of our agents. This involves working within a team of trainers to facilitate successful group dynamics and nurturing growth and learning within each agent. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver formal and informal lessons throughout the course, drawing from experience and expertise. Create assignments, including homework, special projects, and reading assignments, tailored to challenging portions of the curriculum. Plan, direct, and coordinate training and development activities for assigned service sites. Engage agents during class through participation, discussions, and 'teach-backs' to ensure knowledge transfer. Provide feedback to agents on their coursework performance and discuss areas for improvement. Assess and monitor individual agent performance in collaboration with training coordinators. Maintain availability for agents through online chat sessions, email, and 'office hours.' Track agent attendance and other progress reporting in collaboration with training. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: A license in Property and Casualty, Personal Lines, or Life and Health, or related work experience. 3-5 years of proven success as an internal and/or external training and development practitioner in a complex, fast-paced insurance environment. A solid understanding of training processes and practices for adult learners. Excellent oral and written communication skills. A high sense of urgency and the ability to meet high-pressure deadlines. Knowledge of licensing processes, continuing education requirements, and background check requirements is recommended. Relationship management experience and a keen sense of attention to detail. A typing speed of at least 40 wpm. Flexibility with availability and schedule based on business needs. The ability to pass mandatory background checks, including pre-screenings, illegal drug tests, and credit checks. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing others in a training environment. A strong understanding of the insurance industry and its regulatory requirements. Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
