General ResponsibilityTo commission, modify, troubleshoot, and support related equipment at customer locations or where needed, while ensuring that the highest quality of work is provided. Must be able to travel 80% of the time to project locations for extended periods. Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommissioning of automated controls for supplied or modified equipment in a timely and professional mannerDesign and execute on site acceptance test procedures with Project Manager and customerCreate and/or review technical documentation for accuracy with Project ManagerProvide technical interface between customer and Project Manager in a professional mannerRemote technical support for customers as assigned in a timely and professional mannerInterpret circuit diagrams and layout drawings for installation and/or troubleshooting purposesWrite and troubleshoot Ladder and STL PLC programsHandle, burn, and restore EPROM’s and Ghost imagesInterface with BEUMER IT team during commissioning and troubleshooting in a professional mannerProgram and maintain Fanuc Robots and toolsDevelop and maintain an effective professional relationship with customers and/or project personnelCommunicate commissioning/troubleshooting activities in a daily, weekly, or as requested format to the appropriate personnel in a timely and professional mannerTravel domestically and internationally 80% of the timePerform other related duties as assignedRate of Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 / per hourRequired Skills / Qualifications5-7 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or equivalent Electro/Mechanical skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to interpret circuit diagramsSiemens S7, Ladder and STL programs, Allen Bradley (all lines)Ability to troubleshootRemote software handlingBasic database functionalityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHeavy lifting/material handling skillsProfessionalismExcellent time management abilityBEUMER is an innovative company, where every employee is part of the 'family'.
