About the roleWe are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with insurance brokers interested in adopting our innovative computer vision solutions for workers' compensation. ResponsibilitiesIdentify and target insurance brokers who are potential clients for CompScience solutionsDevelop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within a geographic territoryCollaborate with underwriters to generate revenue with targeted brokers and agenciesPrepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clientsCollaborate with internal teams to smooth implementation and delivery of solutions to clientsBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at insurance brokeragesUnderstand customer needs and requirements to effectively position our solutions and tailor proposals accordinglyStay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growthRequired ExperienceProven track record in business development or sales, preferably within the insurance sectorExperience in cold calling and prospecting to generate new leads and opportunitiesExperience selling to insurance brokers or similar stakeholdersStrong understanding of insurance industry dynamics. Workers’ comp sales experience is a huge plusExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to travel 50-75% of the timeBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)Working at CompScienceCompensation: CompScience is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The on-target earning potential for this role is $150,000 - 250,000. Compensation is determined based on your qualifications and experience.
