As an Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to grow the Glucerna brand and drive sales through Business Delivery at Costco. Key Responsibilities As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for: Fostering strong customer relations with Buyer, Assistant Buyer, and ICS Delivering Net Sales growth and share objectives Effectively negotiating trade deals to drive profitable business and positive ROI, managing Trade Budget, Rate, and driving Net Sales Realization Managing accurate sales and shipment forecast Developing and leveraging a thorough knowledge of the customer, industry, and competitive landscape Own customer meetings and creating tactical plans to deliver Costco and Abbott’s key objectives Developing and delivering team strategies, objectives, goals, and key performance metrics Actively leading, engaging, and working with internal Abbott Nutrition functions, peers, and colleagues to drive business results Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor’s Degree 2-3 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry to Costco A strong record of exceeding sales growth and share objectives Effective interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to analyze data/market trends to effectively develop presentations, provide recommendations, and forecast performance Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Circana Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a remote environment Knowledge of the nutrition industry and Abbott’s products Experience with trade deals and negotiations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Abbott, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
