Job DescriptionAn automotive parts distributor in the Indianapolis area is seeking a temporary warehouse associate for the 1st shift on a two-month contract. ResponsibilitiesStage orders for delivery and outbound shipments. Pick up used bumpers and stack them on a jig. Palletize bumpers for Chrysler, ensuring 54 bumpers per pallet and 7 pallets per truck. Shrink wrap items in the designated area. Regularly use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure the quality of orders. Unload inbound freight using a forklift or pallet jack. Essential SkillsProficiency in operating forklifts. Experience with RF scanners. Material handling expertise. Order picking skills. Ability to operate a sit-down forklift. Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED. Work EnvironmentThis is a small yet growing operation located in Indianapolis, driven by increasing demand from Stellantis in Kokomo. The warehouse is equipped with heating but lacks air conditioning. During the summer months, fans are used throughout the warehouse and bay doors are opened to maintain a comfortable working environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
