Job Description: In this role, you will deliver excellent customer service in point of sale and customer services processes while focusing on consistent execution and operational efficiency. You will deliver speed of service transactions while creating a compelling customer experience. What You'll Do as Store Clerk: • Welcome customers with a friendly approach and assist them in exploring available products and services. Utilize a cash register, scan items, package goods, and handle diverse payment methods appropriately • Demonstrate proficiency in carrying out point-of-sale transactions and meeting customer service standards in alignment with company policies, delivering friendly and efficient service • Attain or exceed personal aspirations such as credit and customer dedication • Preserve inventory accuracy by diligently carrying out all essential retail transaction and merchandise disposal procedures • Aid in the education of newly onboarded employees on the service team by showing them the best practices to adopt during the training process, providing guidance on the proper techniques for carrying out point of sale procedures, and demonstrating how to effectively leverage the available tools and resources in alignment with Kohl's brand expectations • Play a role in the daily service routines by completing tasks such as registering sales, counting cash, and reordering necessary items Role and Responsibilities of Store Clerk: • Engaging in trustworthy behavior and cultivating a sense of togetherness in a diverse and inclusive setting • Exercising sound judgment and astuteness when making decisions; engaging with suitable partners as needed • Embodying a proactive customer service attitude by foreseeing and resolving customer requirements • Succeeding in completing several tasks within designated deadlines • Adhering to the company's protocols, policies, standards, and guidelines • By following the safety protocols implemented by the company, all associates and customers can feel confident in their surroundings and protected from potential hazards • Acknowledging, comprehending, and engaging effectively with direction and feedback from supervisors, managers, and colleagues • Added responsibilities as instructed Required Skills and Experience of Store Clerk: • Adept at delivering top-notch customer service and capable of multitasking effectively with a strong emphasis on precision • Strong verbal and written communication expertise, along with effective interpersonal capabilities, are key components for achieving success in the workplace • Experience in retail not a prerequisite • Applicants must be at least 16 years old • Versatile scheduling, encompassing weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
