Join Our Team as a Tax Associate (Entry Level) - Starts June 2025 We are seeking several full-time Entry Level Tax Associates to join our June 2025 group in either our Parsippany, NJ, New York City, NY, or Ewing, NJ office location. As a Tax Associate, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with our experienced professionals to deliver exceptional service to our clients. This is a fully remote role, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere and achieve a better work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: Prepare projections, provisions, and returns with accuracy and according to firm policies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Prepare tax returns, organize work papers, maintain open item lists, and conduct self-reviews of work before submission to reviewers, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to organize facts, analyze, interpret information, and perform basic research, using your analytical skills to identify solutions to complex problems. Identify and develop alternatives for issues and consult with in-charge and/or partner, showcasing your ability to think critically and creatively. Master firm's tax software, research technology tools, and related products to accomplish work efficiently, staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies. Proactively manage assignments, clients, and workload, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must be motivated, have the ability to multi-task, and be organized. You should maintain a positive attitude, be cooperative, and flexible about the type of work assigned and in assisting other team members with assignments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential, as you will be working closely with clients and colleagues. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a related field, preferably in tax or accounting. B. A./B. S. degree in Accounting or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices. Completion of 150 credit hours by June 2025 is mandatory, as you will be required to pursue your CPA certification. Basic experience in the preparation of individual and flow-through entity returns, as well as a basic understanding of tax law, will be an asset in this role. Skills and Competencies: To excel as a Tax Associate, you should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple assignments simultaneously. Proficiency in tax software and research technology tools is also essential, as well as a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
