Google Workspace is the central collaboration suite that powers our work. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Engineer – Google Workspace to join our team as a technology solutions-oriented professional with a passion for making applications work for the individuals utilizing them to accomplish their work. In this role, you will use administrator-level knowledge of applications, process analysis, and effective meetings and design sessions to ensure the applications work together and are configured in a way that is effective and secure for the organization. Key Responsibilities Central Administration and Product Ownership: Act as the central administrator and product owner of Privia's Google Workspace Enterprise environment, ensuring seamless operation and optimization of the platform. Google Workspace Release Management: Stay up-to-date with the rapid Google Workspace release schedule, measure feature impact, and communicate key updates to Privians. Change Management: Act as the change manager for Google Workspace in the central Change Advisory Board, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions. Support and Consultation: Provide support to all Privia teams working to collaborate with outside partners and offer consultation on how to best leverage the platform safely and effectively. Evangelism and Adoption: Act as a change agent and assist the AVP of Enterprise Applications and Projects in evangelizing the toolset that Google Workspace provides, promoting adoption and best practices across the organization. Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain support documentation and the collection of Google support articles relevant to Privia, ensuring that knowledge is up-to-date and easily accessible. Troubleshooting and Support: Collaborate with the documentation committee, technology support teams, and the Incident Response Center to provide troubleshooting workflows as needed for end-user support. Gap Analysis and Integration: Identify gaps in collaboration tools and work to close those gaps with integrations or new tools as necessary, ensuring that our technology stack meets the evolving needs of the organization. Training and Enablement: Train teams and new employees on Google Workspace best practices, ensuring that they can fully utilize the platform's inherent benefits. Platform Growth and Optimization: Grow the IT department's knowledge of Google Workspace and effective management of the platform as Privia grows, staying ahead of the curve in terms of features, best practices, and security. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Strategic Thinking: Demonstrates strategic thinking by evaluating how technology can address and solve complex problems. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; 4+ years of experience in information technology. Google Workspace Administration: 2+ years of administrator-level experience with Google Workspace in an environment with more than 200 users. Preferred Qualifications: Google Workspace Tools: Experience utilizing a full suite of Google Workspace tools, including Classroom. Google Workspace Certifications: Google Workspace administrator certifications are a plus.
