The role of Front Desk Night Auditor at Concord Hotels is a vital position that combines financial auditing responsibilities with guest service duties. This full-time position pays between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour and involves managing the hotel's financial transactions and guest requests during the night shift. The Front Desk Night Auditor is responsible for processing daily audits of the hotel's financial data, including verifying transactions from the front desk, posting charges, and preparing detailed reports for the following day. This role requires meticulous attention to detail as the auditor finalizes all credit card transactions and tax charges, ensures that all guest folios are accurate, and balances the hotel’s accounts by the end of the shift. Beyond the auditing tasks, the Front Desk Night Auditor plays a central role in guest services during the overnight hours. Duties include handling the hotel phone system, managing guest reservations by taking, modifying, or canceling bookings, and coordinating with other departments such as Housekeeping and Maintenance to resolve any guest issues.
