About the roleWe’re hiring a People Ops Intern to join our People & Culture team for a 9-month full-time internship with the goal of converting to a full-time role at the end of the program. This role is your front-row seat to the inner workings of a high-growth startup People function. You’ll work directly with our Head of People and contribute across the full employee lifecycle - from hiring and onboarding to employee engagement, internal communications, and culture-building. You’ll help optimize and scale our People Ops foundations, ensuring our systems, workflows, and documentation support a growing, distributed team. You’ll also support talent acquisition, helping with hiring logistics, candidate experience, and employer branding that showcases Clerkie as a standout place to work. On the culture side, you’ll help drive community-building initiatives from employee recognition and milestone celebrations to virtual team events, offsites, hackathons, and even our annual company retreat. This is an ideal role for someone earlier in their career (maybe your first or second job) who’s excited to grow into a thoughtful, well-rounded People professional. You’ll be involved in everything from building processes and coordinating logistics to making sure employees feel welcomed, seen, and celebrated.
