As a key member of the Annual Giving Programs team, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and securing leadership annual gifts, revitalizing and expanding the University's long-standing Trinity University Associates program, and managing the Class Partners Program. Key Responsibilities Cultivate and secure leadership annual gifts ($1,000-$25,000) from alumni, faculty, staff, and friends, working closely with the Senior Director of Annual Giving Programs and other stakeholders. Revitalize and expand the Trinity University Associates program, a long-standing and successful leadership annual fund initiative. Manage the Class Partners Program, a pivotal giving program that supports Pell-Grant students at Trinity through scholarships. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward leadership annual gifts, building and maintaining a portfolio of meaningful relationships with donors and prospects. Create customized written materials and proposals to support solicitation efforts. Collaborate with major and planned giving professionals to realize the best philanthropic opportunities for alumni and friends of the University. Develop goals to increase, retain, and upgrade participation from leadership annual giving donors. Confirm and follow up with other giving officers or volunteers on renewals of leadership donors. Assist in creating content for leadership annual giving portions of the University website. Serve on university committees, as needed, and cooperate with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Master's degree or equivalent preferred). Three to five years of fundraising experience, preferably in higher education or with major nonprofits. Direct solicitation experience at the annual fund level. Extensive knowledge of best practices in donor cultivation, leadership solicitation, volunteer management, and ongoing stewardship. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to generate philanthropic support and partnership engagement across University academic and programmatic units. Strong organizational propensity, customer service orientation, and self-motivation. Unquestioned personal integrity, credibility, and work ethic. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you will ideally have: A Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Experience working in higher education or with major nonprofits. A proven track record of successful fundraising and donor cultivation. Strong connections within the philanthropic community.
