Key Responsibilities Leadership Role: Collaborate with our Senior Vice President of Pharma, CFO, and CEO to drive business development activities and achieve revenue growth objectives. Business Development Partnerships: Manage current and potential partnership programs, including project sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and deal negotiations. Market Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on the competitive landscape and industry trends to inform our business strategy and stay ahead of the curve. Financial Projections: Develop comprehensive financial projections, analysis, and valuation models for potential corporate collaborations, business plans, and partnerships. Business Inquiries: Field and respond to business development inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, showcasing our company's expertise and capabilities. Networking and Partnerships: Position our company as a partner of choice in the CKD/Renal space by engaging with biotech and pharma companies through various interactions and networking opportunities. Presentations and Reporting: Assist our SVP/CFO in creating and presenting management board reports on potential opportunities and securing approval for strategic initiatives. Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor transaction activity to stay informed about market developments and identify potential areas for growth. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry Experience: 7-10 years of business development experience in the biopharma/pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of success. Analytical and Financial Modeling: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to develop complex financial projections and valuation models. Project Management: Experience in managing projects and partner programs, including licensing, due diligence, and data room management. Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Degree: A master's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or a related discipline. Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the renal pharmaceutical industry, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities.
