About the Role:We're seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our fully remote team and drive go-to-market strategy for our growing product portfolio. You'll be the strategic voice that translates our technical innovations into compelling market narratives, working at the intersection of our open-source Dapr community and enterprise customer needs. You will work closely with our product managers, engineering, sales engineers, and customer success engineering. The role reports directly to the head of Marketing. This role is perfect for a seasoned product marketer who thrives in the developer tools space and understands the unique dynamics of open-core business models. You'll own all product marketing deliverables while helping shape how we communicate the value of distributed systems solutions to technical and business audiences. What You'll Own:Product Positioning & MessagingDevelop compelling positioning and messaging for Diagrid Enterprise, Diagrid Catalyst, and future product offeringsCreate differentiated value propositions that resonate with both technical decision-makers and business stakeholdersEstablish clear product narratives that connect open-source Dapr benefits to enterprise commercial valueHighlights product benefits to both the development community and the platform/SRE teams who deploy and maintain those applicationsNew Launch Planning & ExecutionLead product launch strategies from planning through executionDevelop comprehensive launch plans including positioning, pricing guidance, sales enablement, and demand generation supportCoordinate cross-functional launch activities across product, sales, marketing, and customer success teamsCompetitive Intelligence & Market AnalysisMonitor competitive landscape in the microservices, workflow orchestration, and developer platform spacesConduct market research to identify opportunities and validate product-market fitDevelop competitive battle cards and objection handling for sales teamsContent & Sales EnablementCreate high-impact marketing collateral, including solution briefs, case studies, whitepapers, and demo scriptsHelp develop sales tools, training materials, and competitive positioning documents for the commercial offeringsPartner with engineering and the founders to create thought leadership content that drives demandCustomer & Community InsightsConduct customer interviews and gather feedback to inform the product roadmap and marketing strategyBuild intelligence around the open-source usageDevelop customer advocacy programs and success storiesDemand Generation SupportCollaborate on campaign strategy and content developmentSupport event marketing including conference presentations, webinars, and trade showsWhat We're Looking For:Essential Experience4-6 years of product marketing experience in B2B technology companiesProven experience with open-core or open-source business modelsStrong background in developer tools, infrastructure, or cloud platformsTrack record of successful product launches and go-to-market executionProven experience in applying new AI-driven approaches to accelerating your work (writing, reporting, etc.)Technical UnderstandingSolid grasp of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native development. We would expect you to have comfort and competence to the level that you can demo our code-first solution and articulate the core functions and primitives.
