The Opportunity As an Event Project Manager at Meeting Tomorrow, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that every customer has a great experience with our company. You'll be responsible for managing a high volume of transactional events, providing exceptional organizational skills, and building strong relationships with clients. Your main focus will be on responsiveness and delivering a consistent, white-glove experience for each of your high-touch events. Key Responsibilities: Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, gathering event details, managing change requests, and addressing questions and concerns. Event Planning: Collaborate with clients to ensure account setup, ordering systems, communication flows, and service delivery meet their overall meeting goals. Process Management: Own communication and information flow between clients, venues, and technical staff to ensure expectations are met. Decision Making: Make decisions and give approvals on behalf of clients to meet their vision. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure processes are followed and service-level agreements are met. Issue Resolution: Manage any issues or challenges that arise to ensure successful event delivery. Billing and Reporting: Oversee billing and reporting needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Who You Are We're looking for an experienced Event Project Manager with a passion for supporting others and a proven track record of managing large accounts. You should be a people person, able to build relationships easily, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. You're process-oriented, efficient, and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on responsiveness and client satisfaction. Essential Qualifications: Previous Corporate Account Management Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing accounts, preferably in the events industry. Process-Oriented: A strong understanding of processes and procedures, with the ability to identify gaps and improve them. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to cater your approach to different clients and stakeholders. Organizational Skills: Highly organized and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Preferred Qualifications: Events Industry Experience: Experience working in the events industry, preferably with a focus on corporate events. CRM Experience: Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Netsuite. Leadership Experience: Experience in leading or managing teams, with a focus on coaching and mentorship. What You'll Accomplish As an Event Project Manager at Meeting Tomorrow, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' experiences and our company's growth. Here are some key milestones you can expect to achieve: Within 1 Month: Onboarding: Complete our project management training course and meet with current members of the Project Management Team. Account Management: Take on your first 5-10 accounts and begin building relationships with clients. Within 3 Months: Client Relationships: Build strong and lasting relationships with clients and internal team members. Process Improvement: Begin to create your own processes for working with clients and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement. CRM Proficiency: Become proficient in our CRM system, Netsuite. Within 6 Months: Autonomy: Manage accounts with autonomy and make decisions on behalf of clients. Process Improvement: Complete projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Leadership: Train and motivate peers, and demonstrate an aptitude for problem-solving and contingency planning.
