OverviewThis position is responsible for delivery of both client and internal projects, centered around the TNSXpress low latency trading infrastructure. The candidate will work closely with regional Sales & Account Management teams, Infrastructure Engineers, NOC Engineers and Project Managers to assess requirements and design and deploy network solutions. ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesThe Sr. Network Engineer is part of a customer facing team and therefore the candidate must possess strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills while having the ability to articulate highly technical and complex project requirements to both customers and internal teams. Responsibilities will include:Support internal and customer delivery projectsBecome a SME on supported products and servicesWork closely with Project Management team to increase quality of project deliveries to clients. Provide training, knowledge transfer and ongoing support to TNS Global teamProvide detailed documentation on all projectsExperience:8+ years of experience in a network environment supporting a global IP network, within Financial Services. Direct experience troubleshooting IP network issues supporting financial markets and applicationsDirect experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, and Arista routers and switches in a high bandwidth, and ultra-low latency production environment and developing multiple options to address complex problemsMultiple protocol troubleshooting experience (MPSL, BGP,IS-IS, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, NAT)Experience with multiple hardware interfaces 1/10/25/40GBASE EthernetIP multicast and FIX order routing troubleshooting experience8+ years of experience supporting managed hosting / server environmentsExperience and familiarity with vendor case management and escalation process for Cisco, Arista, and JuniperSolid written and verbal skills with Ability to create and maintain technical design and support documentationDirect customer service experience requiredFlexibility around working hours in support of business requirements (may include bank holiday working etc)Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)CCNP or CCIEJNCIP or JNCIEQualificationsIf you are passionate about technology, love personal growth and opportunity, come see what TNS is all about!
