Purpose of JobThe team of product managers is responsible for the digital product vision, planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineers, analysts, and internal stakeholders to ensure the satisfactory goals are met. The product manager also ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goal. The role be vital to the team bringing innovative solutions that enables critical decision-making and operational efficiencies to the company. Major ResponsibilitiesPartner with business to define the digital product vision and strategy. Understand internal technical capabilitiesIdentify product with prioritized features and corresponding justificationAbility to understand R&D stakeholders’ needs, translate into detailed requirements and executable tasks and create buy-in for the product vision both internally in PMDI and Digital Solution and Engineering (DSE) teams and with key stakeholdersWork closely with engineering teams, project manager to deliver quick prototype, release plans (including versions with specific feature/functionality based on value to the business considering time-to-deliver) and optimal resourcesIdentify product definition compared to industry landscape and perform build versus buy analysisAssess changes in business needs and adapt product direction and/or identify risks and associated mitigation strategiesAct as a leader within the companyPartner with business function to drive change management and adoption of the digital solutionsDeveloping Intuitive visualization, Dashboards, KPI scorecards, Charts, Graphs using Business Intelligence toolsBuilding advanced User interface (UI)User Experience (UX) for software solutionsGain understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas to improve customer experience and drive growth. Ability to either build or provide direction/guidance on utilizing predictive analytics tools to provide actionable insights to create operational efficiency and other key performance metrics (KPIs). Strong understanding of clinical and operational data extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, AWS or AZURE cloud technologies. Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to build dynamic data engineering solutionsWork with Communication and Development manager on product launches including branding, education and demosQualificationA strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech industry, and sense of business acumen in relevant functionBachelors degree required.
