Technical Design Specialist/Writer (Data Analyst)

We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Design Specialist/Writer (Data Analyst) to join our team remotely. About the Position The Technical Design Specialist/Writer (Data Analyst) will play a crucial role in supporting the Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA), Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G9 (ODCS, G9), Enterprise Architecture (EA) - Specialized Design and Compliance Support Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing reliable and timely Information Technology (IT) services to assist the ODCS, G-9 directorates and the Army-wide installations enterprise. Key Responsibilities Design and production of technical and business analysis products, including drafting substantive narratives for transformation initiatives and rendering technical illustrations for architecture scenarios Technical modeling, data modeling, and analysis to develop detailed recommendations for enhancing existing architecture Providing compliance support and ensuring all deliverables contribute to the overall modernization and optimization goals of the organization Creating dimensional images, storyboard sketches, and designs covering Installation Management capability areas Delivering design concepts, layouts, and mechanicals within 15 workdays from initial tasking for a range of printed and electronic materials Supporting the electronic and print production of select business system products (DODAF Viewpoints and Models) Providing input into the contractor Monthly Status Report (MSR) Collecting and assessing complex data systems and programs in support of management or customer requests Validating data for completeness and accuracy based on project guidelines Developing and executing standard or custom queries or reports to retrieve data as required Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field A minimum of 5 years' experience performing similar work An active Public Trust clearance or above Experience in creating technical documentation or design specifications for IT systems or projects The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documents and diagrams Knowledge and understanding of data modeling, data structure concepts, business process re-engineering, and enterprise architecture Nice-to-Haves Ability to provide ad-hoc on-site support at the Pentagon as required by the government What We Offer In return for your skills and experience, we offer a comprehensive benefits program, including: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) plan with company contributions Paid Time Off (PTO) for regular full-time and part-time employees A competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals Career Growth and Development Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Mentorship and coaching from experienced professionals Opportunities to work on a wide range of projects and develop new skills Our Culture We are a dynamic and innovative company that values collaboration, creativity, and teamwork.
