As an IT Recruiter, you'll play a critical role in identifying and attracting top technical talent to join our clients' teams. With 95% of our operations conducted remotely, we offer the flexibility and autonomy you need to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities and Duties Add at least 3 qualified technical candidates to our matching pool weekly, focusing on areas such as software development, cybersecurity, systems administration, database engineering, and network engineering. Contribute to weekly submissions as specified by your manager, ensuring that you're consistently meeting and exceeding targets. Aim to have at least 1 candidate per month selected and hired, with a minimum of 12 placements per year - and secure your first hire within the first 90 days of employment. Participate in daily meetings with fellow recruiters and management to share insights, discuss challenges, and align on strategies. Make daily cold calls, send emails, and text messages to potential candidates, leveraging your creativity and expertise to build a robust pipeline of talent. Stay up-to-date on open positions and develop a deep understanding of IT roles, enabling you to source the best candidates and communicate effectively with clients and job seekers alike. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: US citizenship and the ability to live within commuting distance to the Northern, VA area for occasional events and meetings. A minimum of 1-2 years of recruiting experience in IT contracting or IT staffing agencies, with a proven track record of delivering results. Strong self-management skills, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a remote environment. A successful background in sales, with a talent for building relationships and driving growth. Exceptional customer service skills, with a customer-centric approach that prioritizes job seekers' needs and career goals. A tenacious drive to win, combined with persistence and creativity in the face of challenges. Demonstrable expertise in using alternative search engines, boolean search strings, and data mining to source top talent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with job seekers. The ability to match candidate skills to IT positions, with a solid understanding of government clearances and their implications. A self-starter mentality, with an incredible work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. Strong organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and a knack for managing multiple priorities. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, to maximize outreach and engagement. Preferred Qualifications and Certifications While not essential, the following qualifications and certifications can give you a competitive edge: A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in a relevant field. Agency recruiting experience, with a deep understanding of the nuances and challenges of working in this environment. Minimum of 1-2 years of sourcing/recruiting experience in federal contracting, with a proven track record of success. Familiarity with technical terminology, enabling you to communicate effectively with clients and job seekers. Certifications such as AIRS - Certified Social Sourcing Certification (CSSR), Certified Social Media Certification (CSMR), or Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR), demonstrating your expertise and commitment to staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
