Job Overview We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tableau Data Analyst to join our team. As a Tableau Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining analytics software, deriving key insights from data, and driving business decisions through data-driven recommendations. Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Design data visualizations using Tableau, create complex SQL queries, and perform ad-hoc and exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Insight Generation: Provide data-driven insights to enable decision-making, work with business units to establish KPIs and methodology, and create reports and analysis to support business objectives. Dashboard Development: Develop, own, and present dashboards to Senior Management that provide actionable insights, and create visualizations to highlight insights and make suggestions on how to improve efficiency or understand patterns in underlying data. Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate data anomalies, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and work with end-users to implement updates and train them on how to use Tableau analytics tools and visualizations. Standardization and Quality: Develop and enforce standard practices, audit peer reports, and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality output and drive a data culture. Essential Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, and data visualization tools, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development. Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations, market trends, and industry dynamics, with the ability to apply data insights to drive business decisions. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Certifications: Tableau certification, SQL certification, or other relevant certifications. Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving business decisions through data insights. Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, with experience in data manipulation, modeling, and machine learning.
