Position OverviewAs a junior loan officer, you will partner with a senior loan officer by managing incoming client leads from initial contact through closing. This position requires a licensed professional with 1-2 years of experience in residential lending, including expertise in government, conventional, and non-QM products. This is a commission-based role, offering significant earning potential, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to work with a top 1% real estate agent in the Southeast and a top 25% producer in the entire NMLS. We are seeking a dynamic, driven individual to join our fast-paced, high-performing team that delivers a 5-star experience daily. Key ResponsibilitiesClient Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, answering questions, providing updates, and ensuring a seamless loan experiencePipeline Management: Track and manage TBD and active pipelines, providing regular updates to team membersLead Management & Outreach:Handle a high volume of calls and top-of-funnel outreach to ensure immediate follow-up with referrals or responses on our automation toolsOperate with urgency on every file, ensuring timely and accurate serviceBe flexible and willing to work outside normal hours to accommodate referral needs and deadlinesLoan Processing Support:Review and verify loan applications for accuracy and completenessComplete income calculations, order automated and manual WVOEs, and obtain AUS findingsSubmit files for Certified Pre-Approvals and underwriting decisions to Team ProcessorCoordinate disclosures and maintain compliance with industry regulationsTeam Coordination:Schedule weekly pipeline calls with loan officer and processorAttend monthly sales, operations, and LOA meetings for training and collaborationSupport two established B2B partnerships, supporting our employee engagement efforts and growing a new customer lead channelKnowledge Building: Stay updated on internal workflows, technology, and loan guidelines (conventional, FHA, VA, and non-agency)Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standardsQualifications:Must hold a valid NMLS license1-2 years of experience in residential lending, including government, conventional, and non-QM productsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with SimpleNexus (nCino), Total Expert, and Canva is a plusExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsBilingual/Spanish-speaking preferredCompensation:Pay Structure: Commission based compensation on funded loan productionBenefits:Competitive compensation based on experienceOpportunities for professional development and career growthA collaborative and supportive work environmentPossible benefits if coming on full time (must be closing 1 self-generated loan a month)Originally posted on Himalayas Apply To this Job
