Job Overview As a Virtual Customer Support Agent, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to our clients in a virtual setting. This is a 1099 opportunity that involves working from the comfort of your own home, using your computer and internet connection to answer inbound phone and video calls, as well as live chats, to assist individuals with customer-related support questions. You will have the flexibility to choose your own hours, with a minimum requirement of 40 hours per week, and will be eligible for bonuses and incentives based on performance, hours worked, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to clients through phone, video, and live chat support Guide and assist customers in finding answers to their questions and resolving issues Work independently from your home office, using your computer and internet connection to access our systems and tools Participate in training and certification programs to enhance your skills and knowledge Choose from a variety of shifts and hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime Meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and productivity Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: 6+ months of customer service and/or administrative experience, with call center or phone support experience preferred A home office setting with a computer, internet connection, and headset hookups High level of professionalism, excellent typing, communication, and computer skills Availability to work overtime and/or weekends if necessary Willingness to submit to a standard background check, drug test, technology check, and voice assessments Technical Requirements: To ensure that you can perform your job duties effectively, you will need to meet the following technical requirements: CPU: i5 (or equivalent), with i7 recommended (no Atom, Celeron, Pentium, or Opteron processors) Internet download speed: 5Mbs down speed minimum Internet upload speed: 3Mbs up speed minimum Network latency: 250 MS latency max Operating system: Win 8.1 (64bit) or Win 10 (64bit) RAM: 4GB minimum, with 8GB recommended A home office setup with an ethernet cord connected to your computer No Chromebooks, iPads, or similar devices (must be a desktop or laptop connected to a nearby router or wall for firewall/security purposes) Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience working in a call center or customer support environment Knowledge of customer support software and systems Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Skills and Competencies: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Administrative skills: ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer skills: proficiency in using computer systems and software Customer satisfaction: ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues Telephone skills: ability to communicate effectively over the phone Typing: ability to type accurately and efficiently Work-from-home skills: ability to work independently and manage your time effectively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At ECS Virtual Support, LLC, we are committed to providing our virtual agents with opportunities for career growth and development.
