About the Role As a Business Analyst at Simpalm, you will play a crucial role in engaging with our clients on software development projects. This is an in-house position where you will work on our existing projects, and you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. As a Junior Business Process Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing current business processes, identifying gaps and pain points, and articulating business needs and ideas to higher management. Key Responsibilities: Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes, understand the current environment, and identify gaps and pain points in the current business process. Communication and Articulation: Articulate business needs, ideas, and problems to higher management in a clear and concise manner. Meeting Facilitation: Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Presentation and Reporting: Present and articulate ideas in user-friendly language, both verbally and in writing. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, and contribute to the success of the team. User Acceptance Testing: Perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure that software applications meet the required specifications. Continuous Learning: Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Education: Associate degree, BA/BS degree, or Master's degree in any field. Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Citizenship: US Citizenship or Green Card Holders only. Preferred Qualifications: Experience: No experience is required, but relevant experience in business analysis, software development, or a related field is preferred. Location: Preference will be given to candidates located in the Chicago, Maryland, Pennsylvania, DC, and Virginia areas.
