About the Role: Digital Field Manager - SmartPath We're seeking a passionate and highly motivated Digital Field Manager to support Toyota and its dealers in enriching their digital strategy, evolving the future of virtual retail, and consulting on internet lead handling and website guest experience to drive incremental vehicle sales. This role is crucial in helping us achieve our objective to increase the conversion of online to in-store guests and new vehicle sales, particularly in the Boston Regional Office. Key Responsibilities Lead and support Toyota's initiative to innovate online and in-store retail with Toyota SmartPath, working closely with a district team to recruit, launch, train, and sustain SmartPath dealers in your territory. Analyze and assess dealership websites and process management to guide dealerships towards an enriched digital presence, leveraging your knowledge of automotive dealer sales and service operations, SEO/SEM, internet lead handling, and digital retailing. Consult with dealers on areas of opportunity to improve their digital presence and performance, adapting to the evolving automotive market to assist with retail innovation and online digital retailing. Effectively communicate with Toyota Dealer Principals and General Managers regarding eCommerce goals, initiatives, and key performance indexes, ensuring alignment and progress towards common objectives. Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with all Field Travelers (Sales/Service/Parts) to ensure that all common action plans and goals are pursued and reviewed with dealership personnel. Qualifications: What You Bring Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field. Knowledge and understanding of overall dealership operations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products. Demonstrated strong presentation skills with the ability to present and engage up to senior-level management. Ability to work across cross-functional teams. Demonstrated planning and proven organizational skills. A motor vehicle record that's acceptable by company standards, as this position requires driving. Preferred Qualifications Automotive dealership experience (retail and/or factory). Automotive field experience (DM and/or DSPM and/or VPTS/eComm Analyst). Experience working with CRM and digital retailing tools. Skills and Competencies for Success To excel in this role, you'll need a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. This includes a deep understanding of digital retailing, internet lead handling, and SEO/SEM strategies, as well as the ability to analyze data and drive decision-making. Strong communication and presentation skills are crucial for effectively consulting with dealers and presenting to senior management. The ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to the evolving automotive landscape is also essential.
