About the opportunity: In this customer oriented position, you will be responsible for providing a senior level of administrative and accounting support to the Parks & Solid Waste Division. You will act as the facility’s first point of contact with customers and coordinate the Division’s financial administration including processing all funds collected, preparing invoices and balancing various accounts. About your background: The successful candidate will have completed a one year college certificate program in business administration or a related field including accounting courses. A minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative position including administering budgets, time entry, preparing invoices, handling cash and payments, processing accounts receivable and accounts payable are also requirements for this challenging position. Along with being a self-starter, you are very proficient with word processing, spreadsheet packages and integrated financial management software and enjoy working in a proactive team environment. Your exceptional communication skills along with your attention to detail and commitment to customer service excellence make you ideal for this role.
