Job Summary We are seeking an Entry Level Revenue Management Analyst to join our team. As a Revenue Management Analyst, you will oversee stock approaches in high-priority commercial initiatives, provide insights to the Commercial Team on demand patterns, performance, and the competitive environment, and assist in training and mentoring interns to analysts. You will also offer analytical support to Yield Leadership on cross-departmental work, town stage research, and unique projects. Responsibilities As an Entry Level Revenue Management Analyst, your key responsibilities will include: Maintaining stock decision-making for high-priority markets to optimize sales and support the low-fare brand in the portfolio of markets/towns contributing ~$400-700M annually Maintaining a large stock approach for unique strategic projects and recommending moves to Leadership Performing in-depth data analysis on demand trends and reporting to Leadership Developing action plans that contain type of action, degree, and route that translate into suitable action; effectively communicating priorities and trends to the Team Collaborating with the team to enhance RM workflow; improving efficiency, growing flexibility, and/or powering sales Interpreting the competitive environment; network, schedule, pricing changes, events/holidays, and economic trends; and interpreting moves needed to optimize sales Training, coaching, and mentoring colleagues to expand their business acumen and/or technical capabilities Maintaining layout person interfaces, dashboards, and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) to present findings and support informed moves Collaborating closely with and communicating effectively with partners across the Commercial agency to achieve Commercial objectives May perform other task responsibilities as directed by Employee’s Leaders Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Knowledge of financial principles and practices and the evaluation and reporting of financial data Knowledge of mathematics, algebra, statistics, and their applications Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources Knowledge of implications of recent data for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making Knowledge and application of data to contribute to the agency’s strategic plan Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data by turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented and visualization software Advanced skill with Microsoft Office, including Excel/spreadsheets, and writing SQL, and ability to learn new capabilities in current tools or new tools Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Entry-level experience, professional and specialized knowledge in Revenue Management, Pricing, or a comparable analytical field Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet programs, intermediate SQL capabilities, and/or the ability to learn new capabilities in current tools or new tools (Alteryx, Tableau, etc.) Presenting to Senior Executives Project management experience Education A High School Diploma or GED is required for this role.
