We're now seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Level 2 Adult Care Certificate Assessor to join our dynamic team in a full-time, remote capacity. About Us and This Opportunity Our success in the Assessment Centre has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assessor to support students virtually through the new Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate. This is a temporary-to-permanent role, initially set for 6 months, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. As a Level 2 Adult Care Certificate Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing students and managing a tutor support service, ensuring they receive the guidance they need to excel. Key Responsibilities Proactively book assessments and complete records of evidence in a timely manner. Manage a tutor support service for students requiring assistance, providing guidance and support as needed. Utilize your expertise to assess students' competence in the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to our assessment processes and procedures. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless delivery of our assessment services. Participate in virtual sessions to teach and assess students remotely. Essential Qualifications and Experience To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and experience: CAVA, A1, or D32/33 qualifications, or equivalent. Experience working in the Health and Social Care sector. Previous experience in assessment within Health and Social Care settings. In-depth knowledge of the Care Certificate standards. Preferred Qualifications and Experience While not essential, the following qualifications and experience are highly desirable: Level 3 AET, PTLLS/CTLLS/DTLLs/CertEd, or equivalent. Experience teaching first aid, moving and handling, and medication practices in Health and Social Care. V1/D34 or Level 4 in Quality Assurance. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: A personable and positive attitude, with a team-player mentality. Excellent communication skills, with a professional email and telephone manner. The ability to manage an online calendar to accommodate assessment demands. A willingness to learn and share knowledge and skills with the team. Proficiency in teaching and assessing remotely, using virtual sessions. Strong IT skills, including Office 365, Excel, Word, and Google Sheets. Experience using Microsoft Teams. Exceptional administrative skills, with the ability to follow assessment processes. Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
