About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Consultant to join our team. As a Financial Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional financial planning advice to our clients, helping them achieve their immediate and long-term financial goals. Key Responsibilities and Duties Counsels participants on their pension plans, tax-deferred annuities, and other available investment options to help clients retain and increase assets. Edifies, recommends, and facilitates new product purchases, including retail mutual funds, annuities, IRAs, 529, and 403(b), bank products, life insurance, and others. Interacts with retirement plan participants to provide exceptional customer service and execute transaction and service requests. Utilizes knowledge of tax and investment strategies to inform financial advice based on clients' financial needs and objectives. Communicates internally with cross-business partnerships to develop and implement the organization's products and services to support clients and company initiatives. Develops and maintains strong relationships with Institutional Plan Sponsors. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 3+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on financial planning and consulting. A strong understanding of financial products, including retirement plans, annuities, and investment options. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop effective solutions. FINRA registrations, including Series 7 and Series 63. A Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) from multiple issuers. Preferred Qualifications We are looking for candidates with: 5+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on financial planning and consulting. A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business. Experience working with institutional clients, including universities, research institutions, and non-profit organizations. Knowledge of tax and investment strategies, including retirement planning and estate planning.
