Job Overview As a Digital Media Buyer and Google Ads Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our in-house media team, responsible for planning, purchasing, and optimizing our multimedia campaigns across Google Ads platforms, including YouTube, search, and display. You'll work closely with our performance marketing and analytics teams to drive campaign success and deliver measurable results. Key Responsibilities Manage and execute paid distribution of campaign content across Google Ads platforms, including YouTube, search, and display. Set up, optimize, and report on Google Ads campaigns, ensuring seamless integration with our overall media mix. Create and maintain audiences in Google Ads for targeting, remarketing, and cross-channel integrations. Produce regular reporting and campaign insights, including GA4 performance analysis and recommendations for improvement. Participate in strategic planning to guide the growth and impact of our digital video, paid search, and display practice. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of advertising campaigns, particularly during high-profile events and cultural moments. Collaborate with internal teams to track billing and reconciliation of impressions and spend. Communicate with external partners, including client and agency teams, vendors, and Google representatives. Implement best practices for copy, creative, and audience targeting in Google Ads, with oversight from our media and brand teams. Essential Qualifications 4-5 years of experience as a digital buyer at a brand, publisher, agency, or similar organization. Expertise in Google Ads, including DV360, SA360, and other relevant platforms. Proven experience with YouTube video advertising, including skippable/non-skippable, Trueview, Discovery, and bid strategies. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate large data sets into actionable insights. Experience with paid search via Google Ads, including keyword list building, ad copy development, and integration with SEO. Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools, including Google Tag Manager, GA4, and ad testing. Bachelor's degree or higher. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with other digital media platforms, such as The Trade Desk, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Certifications in relevant platforms, including Google Ads Search, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Ads. Experience working with first-party CRM lists and/or voter file audiences. Client-facing communication experience.
