YOUR TEAMThe Engineering org at Nuna is comprised of the Nuna App team for patients and Enterprise team for care teams (clinicians, practitioners, administrators and support). The Nuna App team is building our patient-facing mobile app which centers around daily use to help people manage their chronic condition by driving positive behavior change towards better health outcomes. The Enterprise team is building our provider portal, EHR and data integrations to give care teams the visibility and resources they need to help doctors and patients achieve health goals. The DevOps Engineer will be the main point of contact for platform, infrastructure and tooling needs within the engineering org. This person will partner with our internal Infrastructure & Security team to understand our company standards and processes and apply those to building resources needed to support our engineering teams. YOUR OPPORTUNITIESOperate as the main devops point of contact for our app and enterprise engineering teamsManage, monitor and optimize our cloud infrastructure (AWS) to ensure high availability, performance and cost efficiencyDevelop and manage our infrastructure using IaC principles and tools (strong proficiency in Terraform)Evaluate the current state of our platform and own the needs of the engineering teams (optimizing current tools and services, getting new services up and running, building self service options for our teams)Incorporate modern methodologies and principles into our development process (CI/CD, Blue/Green Deployments, monitoring & observability, automation)Partner with our internal infrastructure team and become a trusted peer on the production side for all devops needs, incorporating company standards for security, compliance and reliability while driving continuous improvement and innovative, scalable solutionsQUALIFICATIONSRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or in a similar roleProficiency and experience with AWS cloud platform and servicesStrong proficiency and hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)Experience with at least one JVM languageSolid understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration platformsExperience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, Sentry)Preferred QualificationsExperience with KotlinUnderstanding and experience with AWS, Fargate and KinesisExperience with database management and administrationKnowledge of security tools and practicesExperience working in an industry with more thorough regulatory requirementsWe take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The expected salary range for this position is $190,000 to $211,000. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, and skillset.
