About the Role: Assembler - Manufacturing Team Member We're hosting a HIRING EVENT on October 9, 2024, and we're looking for talented individuals to join our Manufacturing Team as Assemblers. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity that offers a chance to be part of something bigger. As an Assembler, you'll play a critical role in the manufacture and assembly of medical devices, contributing to the production of life-saving and life-enhancing products. Key Responsibilities: Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to all required GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and applicable manufacturing procedures. Perform a variety of duties to assemble all types and sizes of product, components, and sub-assemblies using standard and specialty assembly machines or hand operations. Operate equipment, perform minor maintenance, and minor troubleshooting as needed. Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality products, parts, or subassemblies to specification. Participate in material replenishment following department procedures. Assist in training manufacturing personnel and contribute to continuous improvement activities. Work flexible hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis. Collaborate effectively in a team environment and be willing to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities. Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or Minimum of one (1) year medical device manufacturing experience. Ability to read, write, interpret, comprehend, and consistently follow specifications written in English. Basic math calculation skills and the ability to use measuring devices and tools. Meets or exceeds dexterity requirements and demonstrates visual accuracy. Displays a positive attitude and is able to work flexible and/or extended hours. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in medical device manufacturing. Familiarity with GMPs and manufacturing procedures. Experience operating assembly machines or hand tools. Skills and Competencies Required for Success: Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals. Teamwork and collaboration skills. Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and responsibilities.
