About the Role: Teach English to Kids Online We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic online English teacher to join our team of educators who are dedicated to providing one-on-one instruction to children in China. As an online teacher with English First, you will be responsible for delivering 25-minute online English lessons that focus on grammar, vocabulary, and conversation skills. Our online platform provides a sophisticated and user-friendly interface that allows you to engage with your students in a virtual classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality online English lessons to children in China (ages 5-10) using our proprietary curriculum and teaching materials Prepare and review lesson plans to ensure that you are familiar with the content and can adapt to the needs of your students Communicate effectively with students, parents, and our support team to ensure that everyone is informed and up-to-date on student progress Complete a short summary of each lesson for parents to review and provide feedback on student performance Utilize our online scheduling system to communicate your availability and schedule lessons with students Support and Resources: A comprehensive pre-teaching introduction and Q&A session to ensure that you are familiar with our online platform and teaching materials Access to our sophisticated online classroom and technical support team Expert teaching materials and lesson plans that are designed to engage and motivate young learners Online technical support and local EF presence for easy communication and payment Requirements and Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: TEFL certification (or equivalent) Native-level English fluency (C2 level) Bachelor's degree in any field Availability to teach during morning hours (depending on your time zone, lessons are available between 6 am-2 pm) Access to a headset, personal computer, and stable internet connection Blended Learning Model: Our online classes for kids are part of our blended learning model, which combines traditional classroom instruction with online learning. Our students attend group classes at our English centers in China and then have the option to participate in personalized one-on-one online sessions with our teachers.
