About the Customer, Marketing, and Product (CMP) Organization The CMP organization is dedicated to bringing a sense of connection to every customer interaction. As a leader within this organization, you will be responsible for building high-performing cross-functional teams, collaborating with senior leaders, and driving business planning activities throughout the year. Key Responsibilities Lead business planning activities with CMP business operations leaders, including long-term strategic planning and operational and financial planning Support organizational strategies that ensure the fulfillment of financial and partnership obligations, including cost analysis and reporting, organizational design, and talent strategies Drive strategy and execution of the 'pace of the business' for the CMP leadership team, including leading the strategy and implementation of CMP performance reporting Bring a leadership voice to Starbucks' corporate network of business operations leaders and continually work to raise the standard of value delivered through this role Manage and facilitate the CMP leadership team, VP+, and 'Town Hall' forums, influencing collaboration, development, and leadership engagement Actively support the CMO and the extended leadership team in communication and meeting preparation, including board and investor communications Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Internal Audit (IA) coordination for CMP, facilitating leadership development opportunities and serving as CMP's primary point of contact for systems and tools that support planning processes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or marketing Experience building high-performing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leaders Strong organizational and disciplinary skills, with the ability to stay focused in a complex, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous business environment Experience supporting senior management, such as a Chief of Staff, and familiarity with business operations and planning processes Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as an MBA Experience in a similar role, such as a Director of Business Operations or a Chief of Staff Familiarity with the coffee or retail industry, and experience working with global brands Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive strategy and execution Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive strategy and execution Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering results and driving business growth Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Starbucks, we are committed to the growth and development of our partners.
