Southwestern College is looking to hire a Part-Time Mental Health Counselor for Health and Wellness (Personal Wellness Services). The services available to students include individual appointments and workshops focused on helping students manage and resolve behavioral health symptoms, optimize student psychological, social, and academic functioning, enhance coping skills, and facilitate emotional well-being, student success, and retention. Service modality is face-to-face with limited opportunity for remote service based on student need. Qualifications Master's Degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy or marriage, family and child counseling OR the equivalent. Note: A bachelor's degree in one of the listed degrees and a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is an alternative qualification for this discipline. Applicants with foreign degrees from colleges or universities outside of the United States must have their coursework evaluated by a professional association that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services(NACES).
