As a Senior Analyst, you will play a vital role in assisting the Content Valuation & Analytics team in preparing data-driven analysis to inform arm's length pricing for Disney's vast TV content library across various platforms, including Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, Star+, and Hotstar. Key Responsibilities The Senior Analyst will be responsible for a range of critical tasks, including: Establishing arm's length-based content pricing and preparing quarterly close and financial planning deliverables for scripted and unscripted content certified by Hulu and Disney+ globally. Consolidating quarterly regional content valuation submissions and identifying key variance drivers to distill effects into actionable insights for senior management. Assisting in preparing long-range and budget planning deliverables, as needed. Serving as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders at DTC Finance, Studio Finance, Participations, and Controllership. Partnering with finance stakeholders to identify and improve process efficiencies and best practices for imputations. Curating and synthesizing large amounts of data to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in actionable insights. Maintaining and updating content performance metrics, including Nielsen ratings, critical review scores, and industry awards, for network and cable primetime applications. Participating in various ad-hoc projects to introduce new concepts and enhance knowledge of key principles across the spectrum of content distribution and licensing. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess: 3+ years of recent experience in financial analysis, finance, and/or 2+ years from a Big Four CPA company. A self-starter mentality, with a creative, flexible, and proactive approach to work. Experience working under minimal supervision, with the ability to scope, identify, and execute value-added procedures and process upgrades. Strong project management skills, with the capacity to track and establish goals, manage multiple priorities, and pivot quickly based on the immediate needs of the business. The ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and partners across all levels of management. Experience working with large data sets and analytical tools, with a proven ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data. Attention to detail, accuracy, organization, strong problem-solving skills, excellent work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. A preference to work with numbers, perform analysis, and maintain accurate supporting documentation of work done. Comfort with rationalizing and justifying decisions made and tactics applied, but flexible with switching paths if circumstances dictate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with strong financial modeling skills required. Required understanding and application of pivot tables and advanced Excel formulas, such as INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, VSTACK, and nested IF statements. A passion for the entertainment industry and television programming, with content licensing experience being a plus. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A BA/BS in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or another quantitative discipline. Previous experience working in a similar role within the entertainment industry. Knowledge of content valuation and analytics principles, with a strong understanding of the global market. Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data insights to senior management.
