About The RoleOur AI-Engineering team is growing and we are looking for an experienced engineer to join our agile, world-class team. In this role you will develop data-driven manipulation and grasp planning behaviors for humanoid robots to manipulate the world around it. You will focus on developing the data acquisition and model training methods aimed at solving challenging problems in real-world deployments. About The WorkDesign, implement, test, and deploy contact rich manipulation behaviors for humanoid robotsDevelop manipulation strategies and behaviors robust to environmental uncertainty and imperfect state estimationDevelop data acquisition techniques required for training manipulation policiesContribute to the software architecture and design of the autonomy stackCollaborate with members of the autonomy teams to solve complex cross functional problemsEngineer high quality software that is well tested, reliable and maintainableAbout YouTechnical ExperienceExperience with reinforcement learning, diffusion models, and learning from demonstrationExperience leveraging machine learning to improve grasp behaviors and object manipulationIndustry experience developing and deploying manipulation algorithms on high-DOF robots in real world applicationsExperience with perception and scene understanding especially as it pertains to manipulation behaviorsExperience using simulation tools such as Isaac Sim / Mojoco / Drake/ gazebo or similarTechnical QualificationsMS or Ph.
