About the Role: Director of Sales - California South District We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Sales to join our team in the California South District. As a remote work-from-home professional, you will lead a team of Market Area Managers (MAMs) within a designated geographic territory, driving business growth and improvement by recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team. By leveraging our organizational health model and upholding our core values, you will play a pivotal role in achieving company objectives and fostering a culture of success. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of MAMs to enroll dealers and consistently generate contract volume within your territory, driving business growth and revenue. Monitor and uphold the 10 Dimensions of Organizational Health to ensure optimal team performance and alignment with company goals, promoting a culture of excellence. Implement strategies to drive new business growth and increase contract volume from existing dealers, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement. Mentor and coach MAMs to identify and address performance gaps effectively, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Demonstrate effective leadership through strategic planning, clear communication, and strong relationship building, fostering a positive and productive team environment. Proactively identify business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them, driving growth and innovation in the automotive finance industry. Essential Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in sales management within the automotive industry, with a proven track record of growth and performance improvement. Residence in or willingness to relocate to the designated district (California South District). Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with dealers, customers, and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Automotive industry experience, with a deep understanding of the used car finance market and trends. Proven track record of success in sales management, with a strong ability to drive business growth and revenue. Experience with organizational health models and core values, with a commitment to upholding our company culture.
