Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and help drive the business forward. As a key member of our team, you'll work directly with the founder to remove operational and administrative bottlenecks, enabling our team to focus on product, marketing, and editorial. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and managing systems that move the business from 1 → 10, ensuring smooth, efficient business processes and functions. Key Responsibilities * Content Operations: + Solve bottlenecks and enable our SEOs, editors, and writers to produce high-quality, optimized content at scale. + Find writing talent, recruit, and manage writers. + Build lightweight processes to check for quality and ensure we're hitting our business goals. + Work with our affiliate partners to understand their compliance requirements and build processes and checks to ensure we're compliant. * SOPs & Playbooks: + Design, build, and manage systems that move the business from 1 → 10. + Continuously improve processes and systems to help the company scale. + Share and communicate ideas on how we can solve bottlenecks. + Put together monthly reports on key metrics. * Finance: + Work with bookkeepers to ensure invoices/receipts are tracked, everything is correctly categorized, and tax/payroll obligations are handled. + Ensure payments go out on time. * Admin: + Handle the day-to-day admin and coordinating activities to ensure smooth, efficient business processes and functions. + Managing/triaging founder inbox & calendar management. + Run the hiring process for an executive assistant. Requirements * 3+ years of experience in an operational or project management position, ideally in a digital industry. * Extremely organized individual with a systems thinking approach. * Natural problem solver with a focus on unlocking revenue growth. * High levels of attention to detail and a passion for SOPs and process management. * Ability to leverage automation and VAs to maximize efficiency. * No task is too small – you pride yourself on doing the job right, even when it's a 'low-level' task. * Team management skills, with the ability to execute on systems and processes designed by you. * Ability to perform well with or without detailed directions. * Growth mindset, with a hunger to develop personally and professionally. * Deep knowledge of project management tools and software. * Basic technical literacy, with the ability to figure out how to configure a Zapier automation. Nice-to-Have Requirements * Personal finance and investing nerd. * Accounting experience. * Understanding of SEO. * Experience as a website content manager or managing editor.
