About the Role We're seeking an experienced Experience Designer to join our team of talented professionals. As an Experience Designer, you'll play a critical role in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for our students. You'll work closely with our instructional design and experience design teams to develop learning materials and instructional media for online courses. Your expertise in web and graphic design will be essential in creating visually appealing and user-friendly learning materials that meet the needs of our students. Key Responsibilities As an Experience Designer, you'll be responsible for: * Creating learning materials in a variety of formats, including web, graphic, interactive, video, audio, and animated formats, depending on the need * Producing web pages, websites, and other web-based materials to be used in online courses * Incorporating third-party web-based tools/products into course materials as necessary * Ensuring accessibility and usability of all course materials produced * Providing suggestions and ideas for improvement in course materials * Testing and/or developing instructional technology solutions * Collaborating closely with team members to clarify needs/concerns/issues in projects * Creating products and materials for use within centrally supported or third-party technology systems (including learning management systems), or independent of such systems * Keeping abreast of emerging trends and standards in web design and development Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience * At least 2 years of experience in a related field, such as experience design, instructional design, or web development * Strong skills in web and graphic design, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Articulate * Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) * Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset: * 1-3 years of experience in higher education * 1-3 years of experience in learning experience design in higher education * Expertise in HTML and CSS coding * Experience with project management tools, such as Asana or Trello Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong creative and technical skills, with the ability to design and develop engaging and effective learning experiences * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders * Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues * Familiarity with emerging trends and standards in web design and development Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
