Job Overview In this exciting role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the overall security perspective, focusing on application security, threat detection, and vulnerability management. As a design director, you will lead a team of skilled security engineers, defining the 'customer experience' of security for engineers at Hotstar. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the security strategy, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing robust security measures to protect our users' data. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of security engineers to resolve complex security issues across multiple domains Collaborate with various teams to define security objectives, conduct penetration testing, and provide security training Develop and implement strategies to unify security vulnerability management across Hotstar Work with all departments to help them track and understand the risk of vulnerabilities, providing reporting and awareness on vulnerabilities beyond SLA Analyze gaps that could be remediated at scale, identifying patterns and areas for improvement Assist in achieving security compliance and maintaining the highest security standards Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Relevant engineering work experience and technical leadership experience A history of partnering with recruiting to build exceptional engineering teams Proven experience in training and guiding colleagues in their careers Experience in setting item security strategy and autonomously starting self-sustaining teams Security engineering capability and experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale applications Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates with: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 7+ years of experience as an individual contributor and 3+ years of experience in people management Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on security and protection Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong technical leadership and management skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with security engineering, threat detection, and vulnerability management Career Growth Opportunities At Disney+ Hotstar, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
