About the Role We are currently seeking experienced NYS Licensed Special Educators to join our team as an Early Intervention Special Educator. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide therapeutic services in the comforting environment of children's homes throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC. Our collaborative, team-centered approach encourages cooperation among all disciplines involved, and we prioritize open communication and collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention strategies in home, school, or community settings to support the development of children with special needs. Work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized programs aligned with the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Maintain open communication and collaboration with supervisors to ensure the highest quality of service delivery. Engage effectively with our team of multi-disciplinary service providers to promote a collaborative and supportive work environment. Develop and implement behavior plans and skill acquisition plans to support the unique needs of each child. Provide ongoing support and guidance to families, empowering them to advocate for their child's needs and promote their overall well-being. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must meet one of the following criteria: Possess a Master's Degree in Special Education, Social Work, or a related field. Hold NYS Licensure as a Special Educator or LMSW. Have Teaching Certifications: Students with Disabilities Birth - 2nd grade. Possess an Initial, Professional, or Permanent Special Education Certificate. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are seeking candidates with the following preferred qualifications: CPR Certification. Experience in developing behavior plans and skill acquisition plans. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with parents and multidisciplinary teams. Strong oral and written communication skills. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities. Bilingual proficiency is a plus. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, including: A fee-for-service structure with rates as follows: $60 for a 30-minute session, $80 for a 60-minute session without DOH Letter, and $65 for a 30-minute session, $85 for a 60-minute session with DOH Letter.
