About the Role: Staff Product Manager - Data Compliance We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Product Manager to join our team at Twilio Segment, the world's leading Customer Data Platform (CDP). As a Staff Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading by example, building high-impact products with hands-on execution, and driving the product vision, roadmap, and creating scalable and innovative solutions. Your focus will be on crafting Twilio Segment's product strategy with regards to changing global data compliance and privacy landscapes, including EU GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and more. Key Responsibilities: Craft Twilio Segment's product strategy with regards to changing global data compliance and privacy landscapes (EU GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) Own our existing GDPR-user-deletion functionality and end-to-end data management efforts, along with driving Segment's data retention strategy Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the product development cycle to align, build, and deliver the right privacy and compliance primitives Drive the strategic direction and coordinate efforts around new opportunities for the platform, including strategic cross-team infra cost savings efforts Unlock key privacy and compliance-sensitive products and features to drive monetization opportunities for large enterprise customers Take a hands-on approach to ensure product development stays on track, removing obstacles and addressing issues as they arise Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, stay ahead of competitors, and ensure Twilio's products remain competitive and cutting-edge Engage with key customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and translate these insights into actionable product improvements Essential Qualifications: We're looking for a candidate with a strong background in product management, preferably in the data compliance and governance space. You should have: 8+ years of product management and/or experience managing complex technical products Curiosity and understanding of the evolving customer data landscape and various regulations and technologies Experience brainstorming vague ideas and turning them into concrete specs, working with engineering and design teams Excellent written and communication skills Ability to deal with ambiguity and clearly synthesize actionable next steps Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications would make you a strong candidate: Experience working with customer data infrastructure and CDPs Knowledge of data compliance and privacy regulations, such as EU GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sales Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to drive strategic direction and coordinate efforts across multiple teams Skills and Competencies: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Strong product management skills, with the ability to drive product vision and roadmap Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive strategic direction Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality products and solutions Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At Twilio, we're committed to helping you grow your career and develop your skills.
