Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Customs Trade Coordinator to join our team on a Work From Home basis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Coordinate customs clearance processes for shipments entering the US, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines. Process and manage import-related documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms. Communicate with clients, internal teams, and government agencies to resolve customs clearance issues and provide exceptional customer service. Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations, laws, and procedures, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to colleagues. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve customs clearance processes. Provide training and support to colleagues on customs trade procedures and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, logistics, or business. At least 6 months of experience in customs trade, preferably in a logistics or transportation company. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex customs clearance issues. Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively. HS Confirmation or GED required. Preferred Qualifications We are looking for candidates with: Experience working with customs clearance software and systems. Knowledge of US customs regulations, laws, and procedures. Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish or Chinese. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
